The GNOME Art Collection written in ruby is a collection of tools for managing art from the art.gnome.org website.
GNOME Art is the graphical frontend for art.gnome.org. Backgrounds and all themes can be downloaded and previewed. Backgrounds, icon themes and splash screens can be installed directly.
GNOME Splash Screen Manager is for managing the splash screens of the GNOME desktop.
Requirements
This application requires GTK+ version 2.6.x.

Because of some problems with the version 0.1, I decided to release the version 0.2 ahead of time. The new version is available now with some new features (caching, installing window border themes etc.).
By the way: The archive of art.gnome.org is back! So you have the choice of a lot of backgrounds and themes now. More information on art.gnome.org.
